    More inaccurate reporting about Norv?

Here is an excerpt from another article about the Browns in my local paper. For those of you who have attended training camps, any insights? Is McCoy that much crisper than Norv? Is the Clev Plain Dealer reporter delusional? Or was Shurmur comatose when he ran camp last year?

Not a second wasted in uptempo camp

The Browns weren't able to woo Chip Kelly to Cleveland, but it appears the coaching staff they hired plans to employ fast paced principles similar to the ones Kelly made trendy in Oregon.

Those attending the opening day of training camp saw an offense moving at a much higher tempo than in recent seasons. Coach Rod Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner are emphasizing pace and efficiency. There's no standing around. Little wasted motion.

Now we are reading in the UT about Norv's pace being a lot less efficient than McCoy's. And his offense was never fast paced in SD. So what gives?

It's plausible that Chud has a much faster paced practice. Norv isn't running the show anymore.

Norv has always tried to run the clock out, starting from the 1st day of training camp. S L O W D O W N.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Sounds like the Cleveland Plain Dealer sports section has taken on the same butt-smooch philosophy that the Union-Tribune has.

Its a mirage. Norv's playcalls are so long that they are emphasizing getting into the huddle quickly so the QB has time to say the play.

It also could possibly be that Brad Childress ran offensive practices at a snail's pace, so any more tempo seems fast?

Why does it matter to us what is being written about Norv in Cleveland. People here won their fight and Norv and AJ are gone. Do we really need to bayonet the dead as well?

Yeah, but it was the classic Pyrrhic victory.

Norv is one of the greatest coaches in this franchises history, he is pretty good. Give the man some respect.
