They thought enough of him to add him to the roster last year. And he is listed as number 4 on the depth chart. But as has been noted there is a lot of talent that he was competing with. Artavis Scott, Mike Williams' teammate at Clemson, is going to be number 4 and I think he's going to be a playmaker. The number five spot will come down to Geremy Davis and Andre Patton. Patton has looked really good and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the roster over Davis. He has a little Malcom Floyd him. There's also an undrafted rookie this year making noise in camp.

I thought he was going to be our version of Cooper Kupp. This is disappointing news. Not even a chance to see him in preseason. I thought he looked a little out of shape in one of the golfing photos. Watch the Chiefs pick him up and become another weapon for Mahomes.
