Feiler is a vet starter at RT. Pipkins looks better (bigger) in OTAs. Jaimes is a solid R OT/G. + Others. We need to see our guys in TC.

Im majorly excited by this OL. Its going to take them time to gel but i can see us being any worse with the increase in talent frim game 1. I doubt we are top 10 OL but you never know what could happen with a new system and experienced guys. This could be like 2018 if this OL gels quick, our rbs can finally get some holes and if our D can dictate more.

i hope to make a game this year. Not sure where and when but i sure would love to see them live.

I LOVE my new offensive line. And from the few clips I’ve seen, Slater looks quick as a cat. Feet, that’s what you win with in this league.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I agree that they will be a better group with more experience together.
I think they start at a higher level than 2020. A top vet C makes it come together easier.
It isn't real 'till it is but the combination of talent, skill, experience and leadership looks very promising.

Interview with Brian Bulaga. Good read.
The right tackle discusses the offseason program, what Corey Linsley adds to this offensive line, his thoughts on Rashawn Slater, and much more.

But but but....his arm is 1/4 inch shorter than Peneii Sewell and that makes him terribly undersized to play OT in the NFL.
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Having Feiler next to Slater with Linsley in the middle really should solidify things. Compared to pipkins and an injured turner/lamp next to feeney combo thats a huge improvement on the left side. Slater will take some lumps but i think the extra year training with the OL specialist all last year probably will have had more pro level influence on Slater to help him adjust. I personally think the left side will be the better side to run behind and Slaters mobility is going to help him in the run game.

i expect 6 games in this OL is going to get more comfortable…of course those first 6 are our toughest stretch but I think we can potentially get a good enough start to be 3-3 and finish strong to have a shot at playoffs if this OL stays healthy…crossing fingers.

                      You're pretty much on point.
I'd like to add that 4 vet OL starters have played a lot of NFL football and that Linsley is a big deal in getting all OL on the same correct page. They have an edge over what might be expected from a new OL group and are a lock to be better than the '20 OL in game 1.
Also interesting: When the offense is on the field, Herbert will be running it. Linsley will help him identify D, make call changes.

It's going to be challenging. 6-0 is the target but 3-3 and improving should work.
If the D lives up to their potential, W's will come easier.

So Pipkins has played significant downs two out of the last three weeks, and he’s done well. I for one thought he was a waste of a roster spot. Now I think at the very least he’s a legit depth piece. But here’s the question I’ve got: is he worth considering as a starting right tackle. I don’t think Storm Norton is the right king term answer. I think he is a depth piece who has filled in admirably but has had games where his physical limitations have been exposed, which is to be expected from a guy who is a backup player who has been forced to start all season.

But back to Pipkins, do we think he has what it takes to be our starting RT moving forward?
