    Offensive Line Discussion

If Okung is out we need help badly is it going to be Tevi Lamp Pouncey Schofield & Scott or Feeney stays at left guard with Pipkins starting at Right tackle I hope the Chargers either make a trade or somehow claim a player on waivers who will help at tackle I think Lamp is going to start at one of the guard spots & hopefully make an impact we will see go Chargers!

We ALWAYS will be churning the waiver wire. Problem is that everyone else is too.

No dumpster diving permitted on this thread!

      Scott / Lamp / Pouncey / Schofield / Tevi

Barring injuries, that's the starting lineup week# 1. It's pretty much set!

Add a TE on both sides of that line and we're set.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Early in the season this is an excellent way to give help on the edge and establish a strong running game.

I think Tevi is LT and Scott is RT. At least that was how it was last season. And I would still rather have Feeney over Schofield but I guess the coaching staff like the latter more.

Looks very likely. It appears Okung will be back but vs Colts doesn't seem probable.

I think they are preparing Feeney for center - Pouncey's contract is up this year.

Kyle Posey once said that the Chargers viewed Feeney as a center coming in.....Lamp's injury & Pouncey side tracking that plan.

The other thing we can do is go back to a lot more of a short passing game. If we can put our best OL players inside, stopping the quick pressure, then we can rely on Rivers quick release to throw the ball away rather than take sacks. Then the OT, may be outmatched, but if they protect the inside gaps, and force the outside rushers to take the long way round, we still have a chance.
