Why? On IR, at least he collects a check...no check if he gets cut...I'd say there's a good chance Cardale doesn't even make it to the PS...Bolts may well scour the waiver wire to sign a PS QB...

Game 1. Don't want to see much of the top 35 players on roster. Just a series or 2. Then the rest of the roster fighting for spots should get a lot of time to show what they can do. Get them in early enough to play vs the opponents 1s & 2s.

Repeat this for preseason game 2.

Game 3 get the starters lots of reps.

Game 4 give the bubble players lots of reps and rest starters.
