I don't think so. I simply stated my opinion and I was respectful to those who disagreed. That's what a forum is all about.

Really? That is a pretty low bar then.

            Either way, we'll never know.
I hear what you are saying. I am not discussing attempts, rather the TDs. My point is that if Brees actually threw 27, 30 for Herbert would not be out of the realm possibility. I would not say that such an occurrence would have been likely as the expression "Martyball" exists for a reason, just that such a result would not have been impossible.

Class act, as always. I'm happy to see him get recognized for his Senior Bowl performance. I hope he makes it to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame next in a few years, which he definitely deserves.

And for those who are wondering, yes...he roots for the Chargers, and he is very complimentary of Justin Herbert.

Always a good listen with Rivers. Thanks for posting it.

Rivers was a beast. I loved that cowboy I remember that just for the KA connections all day long.

By getting rid of him to make Anthony Lynn happy. Lynn wanted Tyrod Taylor. To me, the treatment of Rivers by Spanos showed the problems with this organization, which will continue. And Herbert will not fix them. There's understandably a lot of enthusiasm about his future, but he plays for the Chargers. And the Chargers will continue to be the Chargers. I don't expect much to go differently for this team

If Spanos got rid of Rivers because the HC wanted him to, then Spanos did the right thing. QB is subordinate to HC.

Now, it may have been the wrong decision by the HC, but you don’t overrule him in regard to the most important decision he makes.

Wouldn't that be great to have Rivers finally win a ring beating the Cowboys fanbase, Eagles fan base & Chiefs fanbase?
