Some Things That Need To Change Within The Offense

#1 Get Travis Benjamin the fuck out of the lineup. I think that is something we can all agree on
#2 We need to run the ball more like 35-40 carries a game
#3 As much as I like Ekeler Justin Jackson needs to be this teams number one back. That doesn't mean that Ekeler won't get his touches but in both of our first two games Justion Jackson has more YPC then Ekeler does who has more carries in both games then Jackson. Or atleast make it more even.
#4 Get Mike Williams more involved in the offense. I know he had some nice catches today but Rivers needs to go to him more often.

I like those, especially #1. Jet sweep wasn't happening, would have rather have a possession receiver down field. The OL does seem to know how to run block a bit better than pass-pro.

See that is what Ekeler needs to be used more for is the screens. In fact I would say he is probably one of the better rb's in the NFL at screen plays. He's going to get his yards. Ekeler reminds me of when we had Sproles and we used him as our number one back when Tomlinson was injured one year and as much as I loved Sproles he should not have been our top running back when Tomlinson was out I feel the same way about Ekeler. Get him into open space by throwing him screens and dumpoffs and let Jackson just pound the ball on the ground. You do that and your going to have a deadly one two punch in at RB.

Yeah, was expecting more of those today. Although we did run one for a TD that was taken away by a phantom penalty.

All of those things could be done, but the reality is we missed 2 fgs, had 2 TDs called back by ticky tack penalties, fumbled at the goal line and had an interception at the goal line. We could easily have won this game by 20+ points with less sloppiness.

If your'e going to throw a jump ball, throw to M. Williams. BTW, he appeared open over the middle but Philip went to a double covered K.Allen instead.
Second half was a disaster. Screen game unstoppable so...let's not do it anymore.
Seems about right.
