Makes some splash plays but takes bad angles allowing too many BIG plays.
I wonder if some of the Chargers woes this year are attributable to Lynn's "messaging" losing effectiveness (I know injuries have also played a large role).
When Lynn said the other week Jenkins was playing at an "elite" level that probably sent the wrong message to the team.... -

To think Anthony Lynn called him a 'Elite' safety. He takes terrible angles on tackles and is late to action a lot. Gus and this defense looks like it's a night and day difference with Derwin James out.Comment

He's too elite according to Lynn.
Seriously, every Chargers fan (including myself) hated and wanted Addea replaced and the Chargers managed to replace him by someone even worse.
For all his faults, Addea never missed as many wrap up tackles as Jenkins.
The Chargers have the shittiest Safety combo in the league in Teamer and Jenkins.
Adderly has actually looked when given playing time but he wasn't getting much reps even before his injury. Similar situation as a young Guard on the O line as well.Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

I'm not really holding out any hope for this season if Jenkins remains our safety valve. He's just not good enough nor has he ever been. I'm still amazed he made it past year one.
