Exaggerated how? The DL sans Bosa stinks

Mebane, Jones and Square aren't good.

I think TT realizes, a trade won't get us over any hump.

He wasn't going to make a big splash anyway. This team has a long climb back to just be a fringe playoff team and there is no point in sacrificing draft picks for that long shot.

            ^^^ This.

To be fair, only six teams in the AFC have better records than us after 5 games. A lot of football to be played and apparently a lot of teams have issues. Curious season.

Just a guess ... again, hope i'm wrong. He held out just for the timing of his bonus pay. his brother blew off his last college season to ensure he was top 3 pick and didn't get a career injury. They will play hard for whoever they are with at the moment, because thats just how they play. but they won't get all sentimental about it. He won't leave because he's tired, he'll leave because he'll somewhere somehow get a better deal from one of the other 31. They are all about cold clear business analyses and they listen closely to mom n dad, who both remember dads career and very well understand that their business won't give a shit about them when they are done. The business dropped dad like a dirty stone once he wasn't of value. Their family gets it more than perhaps any.

That's just modern pro sports, we all need to understand and not take every business decision made by either a player or a team personally. Its how it must be, because making sentimental decisions would be worse for a team. And a $1500 season ticket doesn't buy us a human that owes us a thing beyond that season, much less a team. it buys us 24 hours of entertainment (plus another 6 hours of crap preseason ).
Agree. If I'm Bosa I'm looking to get out. Pathetic franchise and home field. Franchise qb at the end of his career turning over repeatedly in the red zone. Get Out

In a few years, the Chargers are going to be the Jets (2004-2016) of the AFC West. The big market team that's garbage and that's least known due to the other team also in the same market.

Chiefs are gonna be the Patriots with Mahomes as Tom Brady and easily winning the division over the other crappy teams in the division.

Seriously, Mahomes looks like the greatest QB ever and he's barely in his 2nd season as starter. Unreal. Class act off the field as well.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

                  - 69-74 record
                  - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
                  - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
                  - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
                  - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
                  - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
                  - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

So let's just waste Rivers last year or two then.

if they can't turn it around, I'm all in for a total rebuild, GM coaches QB, been watching a bad team for years, what's more bad years maybe we'll find the right coaches and players to win it all , this group has shown they can't , I am hoping this team can turn it around this season but their play has been terrible. At the end of the day we all want to see a championship team.
