I guess you're feeling my frustration after watching this team look so good on paper, year after year, only to tank, either during the season, or in the playoffs. Especially frustrating is Rivers, making unforced errors, like that pick. Been watching this year after year. As I said in another post, Rivers reduced his errors considerably last year, but has now reverted back to his 2014-17 form when he threw up a ton of awful picks and literally lost games that were winnable, because he tends to panic under pressure...I honestly don't think Rivers will ever lead us to a SB, because he has a long history of meltdowns in pressure situations, either key games or playoff games. Hope he proves me wrong, but I frankly don't expect him to change now, especially in his older age...
Which is false as I pointed out earlier. But I'll say again:

In 2017 he had more yards than 2018 and only 10 INTs...which is the magic number according to somebody here.

    Even more yards in 2015 with 13 INTs....only 1 more than 2018.

Yardage doesn't necessarily equate to victories. During that stretch from 2014-17, Rivers had a few stinker years, especially 2016 (see above), when he threw 21 picks and had a QBR of 87.9. And a LOT of those picks he threw in that span lost us games. Look at our record in that stretch from 2014-17 (above). 9-7, 4-12, 5-11 and 9-7. No playoffs any of those years. Yes, Rivers put up a lot of stats, a lot of TD's, a lot of yards. But several very untimely picks and other errors costed us games.

Looks like he had 2 seasons where he threw a lot of dumb INTs, not 4.

Eli won SBs throwing 20 and 16 INTs those seasons. Maybe we need a better OL and running game?

An improved O-line would surely help. I guess the question is, what do we do with our current personnel? I would give Lamp a lot more reps at LG for sure. Maybe even rotate Pip with Tevi and see how Pip does.

Can't argue that. We seen Tevi already and his pass protection isn't improving.
