think you're a year late w/Bridgewater.... good personnel decisions are made when others are unsure.

now your sure after seeing what he did last season, and.... you're gonna pay thru the nose compared to what you coulda got him for last offseason.

Mariota is that decision this year.... what is he worth and can he recover his career at some point, and preferably sooner than later ??

personally would much rather wager on a Phil bounce back season, and a Mariota bounce back career, rather than waiting on Easton and counting on Tyrod.

and ditto for Conklin, as not wholly against him, 'tis just he's gonna cost you/us.... would rather make the evaluation on Andrew 'n Jason, and take the risk there, 'specially given that Campen would be overly familiar w/Spriggs.

if we resign Phil, would def take the risk on squeezing one more starting season outta Whitworth, and am not sure 'bout Spriggs, but am guessing Campen would be ??

I wouldn't be opposed to signing Bridgewater. Much rather have him than Mariota and don't care if he costs more.
If a vet is the way they want to go, sign him. If it's a draft pick then no.

I didnt really want him when he was coming out. The rumors of drafting him and trading Rivers to me were ridiculous. You know, when Rivers had a similar season to this last one. Everyone was thinking he was done and we should trade him. Typical dumb fan speak. Then he goes out and has a good year.

He will do that again next season.....where ever he lands.

Why Floyd when we have Nas?Would rather scoop up WR3 with that pick if possible or more O line.

Floyd because he will be a key special teamer.
And solid depth behind Derwin.
WR isnt a bad idea. But for a 5th rd pick, I think Floyd is more likely to contribute because i know he can play on special teams unit.
