There is no need to fire Lynn. He'll be canned in 2 years when this current era of Chargers football ends. The same way Norv era ended and McCoy ended. I'd build up the OL in the draft unless our QBotf is there.

            Exactly.
            By design.
            LAC already have a plan.
We just don't know what it is.

We think, hope, that they have plan, if they do it hasnt worked.

The only thing Telesco has to worry about is building an OL, sign Rivers and if it doesnt work out we already have Lynn's desire (Taylor) just build a proper a line and see what happens. That's all you have to do Telesco, build an OL WITH decent depth.

But cheap enough for them to keep and waste a roster spot. lol Still un-tradable. We are in a position if Rivers retires to somewhat consider this thing a rebuild. If our OL draft picks had panned out maybe we are in a position to transition in a rookie QB. Feeney and Lamp are most likely setting us back a little bit. I expect Pouncey comes back as we just signed him for next year not long ago. We need a couple guys on the OL. And if we were to sell the farm for a rookie QB it may make some sense to trade a couple studs. Hayward is on his last year. Not sure what we could get. Keenan maybe gets you a 1st.

But even if we dont make trades we could have the money to bring in a couple OL in free agency that help us. But they are such a hot commodity that teams are way overspending. Or teams are not letting them go. I think Telesco chooses to build through the draft....but that will change a little bit when we have a rookie QB on a rookie deal.

You're right. I need to step away from the contract discussions. Im just not sound in that regard at the moment. lol Im so scattered across the internet these days. Multiple battles daily.

No worries. That could actually make him more tradable with the extra year of control, but just opens up a huge hole at corner for us. It will be interesting to see if the front office thinks we need to blow things up or if they think injuries are why we are where we are and that getting guys back and filling a few obvious holes makes more sense.

21M over that span. I doubt you could get a high pick. But given the current market value for CBs that may be cheap. He is solid. Probably worth keeping. The guys with the most value may be Mike Williams and Bosa. But Bosa is my favorite charger. You trade him ill be pissed. Think about some of the vets. Ingram. Hayward. Allen. And keep the youth.

The roster for 2021 has 18 players under contract. Only 4 are offense. lol.

Despite all, Philip Rivers leads the NFL. Just appreciate that.
