sorry.... no....Tua is nowhere close....... Tua does not make clutch throws to covered guys, because his team is so good he never has to...... Namath was the last Bama QB to be worth a darn.....

his defense, OL, and running game are dominating...... even if Tua were healthy, Burrow is clearly way way better in virtually every important way..... Tua may be better then the other QB's in this class but Burrow is in a class by himself like Luck, Manning, Elway, Marino, Kelly, Rivers, Big ben.....

BTW, anyone notice that Rivers and Eli Manning can still play??? at least for another year or 2???.....

Rivers is starting to remind me of a lot of aging pro golfers...their best years are behind them, but their play is just not what it was...still capable of a great game from time to time, but Father Time has finally caught up with them...

You are missing a Hall of Famer in between Namath & Tua.

Burrow may become a HOF QB in the N.F.L but as a prospect he is no Elway or Luck. Those two were insanely talented physically in ways Burrow simply isn't. He isn't even a better prospect than QBs from recent drafts like Wentz, Goff, Mahomes or Watson. All those QBs by the way were all highly touted well before their final seasons in college. If Burrow had entered the draft last year he would have been a 2nd round pick at best. The heisman season he is having this year, along with improving on many areas are the reason he'll be a top pick.

Not with the season he is having. Last years QB class wasn't that good. Turns out this QB class isn't turning out as good as first thought but I see
Burrow better than Daniel Jones. Even Murray has been only ok.
Easily a first rounder last year with this year's production

Luck was amazing..... as a rookie elevated a horrible team to the playoffs!?????....... that is not good in your opinion????

just go watch Burrow play .....he does things no other QB can come close to doing.......

Elway was clearly worth more then the 3 first round picks asked for by the colts...... The attitude you have is typical oof cheap people who want something for nothing......

To get the best you have to pay for it........ odds are whoever ends up with the number one pick will not be stupid enough to to pass on Burrow.......

you need to actually watch Burrow play this year and you would see he is special...... some people only look at stats, but they dont look at how they occurred with their own eyes...... Burrow beat perfect tight coverage with perfect throws..... the Oklahoma QB and the Oregon QB made most of their throws too totally wide open uncovered receivers...... HUGE difference.......

Go look at film and you would be willing to trade anything to get that pick..... its a no brainer..... think of the greatest QB's of all time....... how many picks would they be worth???? afterwards...... 2, 3, 4 first rounders?..... of course..... in a heartbeat......

you might win ONE SB without a great QB, but the ONLY teams to win multiple SB's, have a rare HOF quality QB....... that and great coaching are the recipe for winning championships!!!!
Always has been the way and always will......

That is fact not fiction...... history has proven that.....

One problem with many Chargers fans is they are so cheap they want too get something for nothing or for a deal..... in many ways the same way the Spanos' view things...... too cheap to consider the big view..... that is why SD does not have a new stadium(or a team any more) and ATL has built 2 new stadiums after the one built at same time/slightly before Chargers Jack murphy stadium has existed......

Open your eyes....... he can throw any pass, bullet passes he has touch, he has more mobility than Elway or Luck...... and can throw on the run accurately..... throwing perfect passes into tight coverage.....

He is way way better than Wentz or Goff(who can't throw accurately under any kind of pressure) or Watson..... Burrow is way way more ACCURATE!!! at all ranges...... and more consistent..... Watson has an out of the world game then gets killed by lowly broncos......

Last year Burrow was not as good..... this year, he got light years better...... QB improving is a great thing...... he's maturing and getting better like a great QB should do..... if he played great last year but sucked this year then that would be a major problem, but there is no problem here..... Burrow has elevated his play to once in a decade type superstar play......

Which is why I said last year. I'm talking about his season last year where he was good but not 1st round material. He obviously got word from agents that he wasn't slotted as 1st rounder and he came back this year. It looks like it worked out for Burrow so far.

                      Ok but he didn't declare.
Smart move by him that doesn't always work out for some, like... Leinart and Barkley. Maybe Herbert this year.

Why do I think Stick would beat out Herbert, easy?

I can think of no logical reason why.
