This is the perfect time for the Chargers to go 2-2...and ruin their draft position.

You actually trust that "better draft position " will translate to better picks by this front office/coaching staff?

        • Rivers throws up a jump ball to Ekkie that gets picked or swatted away
        • Lynn has 3 timeouts, fails to use them, lets clock dwindle and we run out of time in a close game
        • Lynn-low and Stitch can't decide on what play to run, costing us a timeout and the game
        • Lynn-low and Stitch put Tyrod in for another bogus "gadget play" that gets blown up
        • Money Bags is not money as he misses a game-winning figgie
        • Pope muffs a return, giving Jags great field position for game winning drive
        • "Bouncewhiffy" Brown whiffs on a tackle to allow a game-changing TD to the house
        • Rayshawn breaks up a pass cleanly, then gets called for taunting / unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to extend Jag drive which wins game
        ...and finally...
        • Gordon up the gut from goal line 4 times for nada, and we lose by 6 points

Yep...take yer pick...one of the above, or something close, is bound to happen...
        You left one out.

Bosa our future 140m dollar man (yes he wants a kahlil Mack contract) misses several tackles and becomes the invisible man on defense and for the game only has one tackle.

Yep...good one, PR...and I think we should franchise him, because $140 mil is kind of steep...

Lynn has said he doesn't plan to sit any veterans for this game. If he is going to trot out Rivers again I won't even bother to watch the game. I am losing interest. Unless there is a chance he will bench Rivers during the game and let Tyrod or Stickman take over. At least the Jags aren't afraid to bench their $88 million man in favor of their 6th round rookie.

Yes. I'd rephrase it that picking later isn't going to help the FO make a better pick unless we can assume every team before them are worse and they will pick all of the possible bad players before TT sends in his card. Im not that optimistic.

Will "worse draft position" translate to better picks or are you back to pissing over everything biggest? Hugs.

right now Chargers are picking 9th according to a current mock draft I saw..... at least in top 10 area, we should get difference making player on OL/DL......

We will not draft high enough to draft a great franchise QB, until Rivers retires and Chargers lose out to get #1 pick.....

problem is if our defense gets better and running game gets better, we will never lose enough games......

If Burrow is the answer, we need to lose out..... we may lose out even trying hard to win.... we dominated KC and kept Hill from doing anything yet lost anyway....... we are a better team than DEN yet we lost twice...... we are better than raiders, yet they kicked our ass.....

                  our remaining schedule:

at JAX...... strong running game ands pass rush, plus bad weather back east, will mean game will be close and like rest of our games, any mistake will cause team to lose...

vs MIN........ our pass rush should make cousins look like bad cousins.... but MIN running game and defense will dominate Charegers as well..... and NFL needs MIN to win game to make its as WC.....

vs OAK...... will be a home game for raiders..... and raiders OL and DL should dominate our bad OL again and weak DT's/LBers

at KC...... KC is better team right now and will need that game to have playoff bye......and KC usually wins even if game is meaningless...Chargers will have stuff packed up for off season..... maybe resting guys like Rivers......

so a 4-12 or at best 5-11 record is most likely......that may put us in top 5 somewhere....

                  Current race for top pick:

1 - CIN - needs QB, but maybe the redhead wins a few games at end of season to drop out of the spot or change draft priorities?
2 - Giants - not likely to draft a QB high
3 - Wash- not likely to draft a QB high
                  4 - MIA- needs QB
5 - ATL- not likely to draft a QB high
6 - DET- not likely to draft a QB high
7 - ARIZ- not likely to draft a QB high
8 -JETS- not likely to draft a QB high
                  9 - Chargers - needs QB
                  10 - JAX- needs QB
11 - DEN- not likely to draft a QB high
12 - CAR -- not likely to draft a QB high
13 - PHI - not likely to draft a QB high
14 - TB - not likely to draft a QB high
15 - CLEV - not likely to draft a QB high

Odds are Burrow will go to CIN or a team that can trade up top that spot. Biggest problem is MIA desperately needs a real QB and has more ammo/high picks to trade up with.

So I just saw that you can get 40 yard line seats on stub hub. Upper deck 10th row for 13.95 each. If you miss out on those there are plenty of others as cheap. Our tickets are even cheaper than Jets / Dolphins...........

                    Gawd what a miserable season

doesn't that depend on who the visitor is? the avg steeler fan, just as an ex, wouldn't give a shit how bad LAC is. They would actually favor that - they are immature and love a beat down lopsided win.

not the best season. i've watched some entertaining football, just not the right endings. im still on the plus side but I don't live and die by it.

LOL! We have a lot of quality drafted talent. Unfortunately not all.

Too bad the coaching staff favors veterans who aren't that good over younger players with more potential.
