I know, why would you replace a qb that’s playing well. Fitz is probably kicking himself for cheering on Tua last week thinking he would still be the starter.

Difference is Tyrod didn’t play well against the bengals.

Also, Tyrod was injured so it is not the same

Its tough to play without all of your starting O linemen.

Las Vegas Raiders' Trent Brown to COVID-19 list, O-line sent home

            • HENDERSON, Nev. -- With the Las Vegas Raiders preparing to place right tackle Trent Brown on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team sent home all five of its starting offensive linemenon Wednesday due to contact tracing, coach Jon Gruden said.
"I guess they were around Trent," Gruden said in a video call with reporters. "I can't get into things any more than that. But hopefully we'll get some players back tomorrow, or for Sunday."
The Raiders (3-2) are coming off their bye week and play host to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2) on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.

"How happy am I? I'm not happy," Gruden said. "I'm concerned. I'm really more concerned about Trent [and] his health than anything. This is COVID and I am concerned about anybody that has it or is near it."

The Raiders' starting offensive line the last time they played, at Kansas City on Oct. 11, included left tackle Kolton Miller, left guard Denzelle Good, center Rodney Hudson, right guard Gabe Jackson and Brown, who was playing for the first time since the season opener due to a calf injury.

Other offensive linemen on the Raiders' 53-man roster are: Brandon Parker, John Simpson, Andre James, Patrick Omameh and Sam Young.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            The Wasted Decade is done.

                  Yannick Ngouye to the Ravens
I think the Ravens gave up less to get him than the Vikings paid the Jaguars

Popper had the thought that if the Chargers traded anybody next week -it might be Ingram or King
He had Ingram to the Ravens for a 3rd

I thought if the Chargers lost - that made a lot of sense

Dez is a good fallback just in case - especially with this new practice Squad. Which I think the NFL should keep by the way. Veterans get some cash - and teams have the security of a more veteran player

Ngouye makes a lot of sense for the Ravens.

                        Makes sense for the Ravens.
The are a SB contender this season.
Player rental for 2/3 of this season.
They will now get 2022 draft compensation for YN if a long term deal can’t be worked out which is very unlikely.

Thats why I thought a deal next week with Ingram to the Ravens - IF the Chargers lost Sunday - made some sense

Popper also mentioned the Seahawks but they have less draft picks
But give it up to the Ravens - Vikings are free fall - smart move to go get him
