He got his start as an assistant on the Ohio State coaching staff.

A very disturbing statement by the coach either way. If true our LBs suck in coverage. Murray is absolutely lost mentally or slower than White or Tranquil. (probably both?)
Must upgrade with a stud DT and LB and keep Derwin out of the box and reduce his risk of injury.

Tranquill and White, the better zone coverage players were used in base personnel and in the nickel package.

You think Murray is the best man cover LB? I don’t. I don’t think Murray has a clue about covering. I don’t think I can recall a single play in his entire career where he has been successful covering a player.

I think Tranq is a better man coverage LB than Murray...not saying Tranq is all that great, but at least he'll give up maybe a step of separation, whereas Murray gives up the Grand Canyon...
