Interesting comment and reply on the Bengals. They look worse than us at drafting OL.

The Bengals haven’t addressed the OL problems for years. It’s been horrible going back many years. It’s hard to throw a football when your QB keeps getting harassed. I’m sure Bengals fan are hoping this year will be different.

            Not exactly true.
Drafted Texas A&M Tackle Cedric Ogbuehi 21 overall in 2015. He was just a spiritless bum. If he had any passiion for the game he would still be in the middle of a good career.

Drafted Ohio State Center Billy Price 21 overall in 2018. Blame it on injuries or what ever, but he has been a bust.

Drafted Alabama Tackle Jonah Williams 11 in 2019 overall, Injuries have slowed his progress.

Those three picks very easily could have been the anchor to a good offensive line. The Bengals for what ever reason seem to be snake bitten recently when drafting O-line early in the draft. That’s one reason I was OK with them taking Chase or Pitts if he would have been available over Sewell or any other O-line.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

This was the reason why I didn’t want to sell the farm to get Sewell like some suggested. I know he was one of the safest draft pick but injury happens and college success doesn’t automatically translate to NFL success. I remember I was big on drafting Billy Price as well.

Looks like the Colts decided to take the risk and bet on Fisher coming back to form by the start of the season.

They have Tevi as a back stop if he’s not ready which I doubt he is for week 1.

Chiefs cut TE Sean Culkin, who planned to put entire salary into Bitcoin

Ryan YoungSean Culkin’s crypto plan will have to wait.

Culkin, who announced last month that he planned to convert his entire salary from the 2021 season into Bitcoin, was released by the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.
