True that. The most energy they showed was when they came out of the tunnel onto the field. This was shocking to me, thought the new coaching regime would at least have them hustling. This team was lackadaisical and undisciplined, could have been Lynn coaching them. It was a close game, but what could have been. Sure getting tired of the usual walk-of-shame up the stadium steps, surrounded by hooting and raucous opposing fans. Not looking forward to playing either the Chiefs or Raiders, hope they prove me wrong. Bolt up!

No regrets on not getting him

I loved Sewell and hoped we'd get him but seeing how Rashawn Slater plays, I have no regrets. Slater is the real deal and I'm happy for the Lions that Sewell is the real deal too.

Just wanted to add this fact - the naysayers said neither of these guys had long enough arms to play OT in the NFL.

Who said anything about getting him? You can’t be happy for another player on another team without saying you don’t want him? So if Tom Brady breaking a zillionth record gets posted then your immediate reaction will be “I’d rather have Herbert”?

This is the “Other Teams Discussion” thread fellas, not “Chargers discussion only” thread. You can appreciate Sewell’s dominance at LT while still being thankful to have Slater manning the LT position for the Chargers.

I can guarantee you the starting QB for the Chargers is rooting for Sewell (and Slater) to do well.
