Rams have taken the opposite approach from teams like the Chargers and most of the NFL. No desire to build through the draft. Just trades and FA’s adding before and during the season.

Some years ago the Redskins used the FA and trades approach and it didn't work out for them. The Rams are doing better with that approach now. I think it depends on being good at picking people - just like the draft does. The downside is the age factor.

Agreed. George Allen ("the Rams were dogging Vinny, the Rams were dogging" -- from the old CBS telecast with Vin Scully, saying the Rams were blitzing, will never forget it - anyway) -- the Rams will be older and the cap space. But if you win one Super Bowl, its worth it.

Payton would be brilliant in Minnesota. Got a great young RB & WR to work with. Cut Cousins today or in the new year, take the cap hit and draft a QB.

Mickey Loomis is an excellent GM. The next Saints HC will be lucky to have him.

Payton is under contract until 2023, so him going to another teams in 2022 is out, but maybe the 2023 season is negotiable. He may ultimately be in Dallas for the right price, lol.

NY Giants have completed their second interview with Brain Daboll. This is not the off-season to be hunting for a QB, and Daniel Jones, just ain't the guy, but this is a solid move, IMO.
