Rivera can fire Del Rio because he is the DC and not the DC/HC. If Staley had a real DC, he could fire him, too. I hope whoever is our next head coach gives Rivera an interview as DC.

Washington doesn't have a talent laden team. Riveras been here before. Some of you guys talk about retreads, these retreads would be fresh retreads. Rivera was a good DC when here. He's been a pretty good HC as well. It's not his fault Washington traded off his best players. He does know the front office and how they operate, now if asked would he coach the Chargers? It'd be a good compliment to get him imo. He'd have the players respect no doubt.

Can't be any worse than what we've got right now....Chiefs won the Superbowl with 10 Rookies....

I think Biasaccia has a real chance. He coached here before, he is well thought of around the league, he has experience as a HC and assistant HC and did well in terrible circumstances, he would be cheap and he is the anti- Staley : much older, tons of NFL experience, very traditional in his approaches. He is a land line to Staley’s smart phone.
Also, for once, we would have a head coach who is a head coach and not a glorified coordinator who is consumed calling plays instead of leading the team.
