Well for 2024 - Lattimore would actually be pretty cheap - $1.2m in salary -- it would be the draft pick compensation
And since Hortiz is building through the draft - probably not happening
His salary in 2025 would be $16m

I can see the Chiefs sending a 2nd to the Saints for him though

I kinda disagree. I mean he is building through the draft but he will trade for a player if it makes sense. He has said this numerous times. They did it in Baltimore. They could trade for him after the draft and send them a 2025 draft pick.

Unless an AFC team offers like a really good pick - better than getting nothing for him -I would take a 7th

but if an AFC team offers a 3rd - I am taking the pick if you are truly moving on from Williams

2025 pick - thats not a bad idea. His salary for 2024 is 1.25m and the 2.5m option - so nothing really for a good player
