Cutting MW and trading Bosa is the ideal way to deal with the cap (along with KA restructure) but I'm not daring to hope someone will do that. The way Joey's contract is setup we don't get a ton of relief by cutting him so it's either trade Joey and keep Mack or keep Joey and cut Mack.

Bosa has a roster bonus of $7m in 2024 in addition to his base salary of $15 and $8m in 2025 - if he is on the roster the 3rd day of the league year. Now maybe Bosa waives that or pushes it back to get a deal done with the Niners

But, if the Chargers are picking up the tab for that $7m - - it should be like a 2nd round pick and another pick

Agreed . . . . . . . . . . . . 1000%. And don't forget one of the major benefits of getting rid of Bosa is freeing up a roster spot for a someone who would actually participate . . . . . . . . .
