Watching MNF. Jets vs. Pats. Why is it that one team like the Pats wear their tradition uniforms while the other team wears their goofy color blast uniforms? Same thing last week with the Chargers vs. Raiders. Raiders wore a somewhat conventional uniform while the Chargers wore their color blast uniforms. Ditch the color blast once and for all. I believe they were developed and instigated for the NFL Thursday Night games only. A phreaking NFL Network origin, if you ask me.

It goes back to the AFL. The league wasn't respected then before the merger, at all, and Joe Namath called those people out at the Miami Touchdown Club in 1969 and Joe said We're going to win the game. I guarantee it.” And then he and the Jets backed up his words with play. The Jets and Namath put the AFC on the map and I love history of the NFL.

Respect to the 1969 Jets.
