The 49ers lost DL Maurice Hurst to a torn biceps today that is probably going to end his season. He is Arik Armstead's backup, and had been handling first team reps while Armstead is recovering from a knee sprain he suffered last week. NT Javon Kinlaw, who missed most of last season with a knee injury, is still working his way back up to 100 percent. DL Hassan Ridgeway, who they signed from the Eagles in the off-season, is also out for a few weeks with a a quad strain. The 49ers' DL is a shambles right now, which begs the question:

Would the 49ers trade for Jerry Tillery? Would Staley/Telesco trade Tillery? What could they get for him?

I said before the Bolts might get a conditional 7th rounder for Titanic Tillery...now, having said that, if the Niners are getting a bit desperate for IDL depth, we MIGHT be able to milk them for a conditional SIXTH rounder...
