In season trades are always pretty rare, but I imagine the extreme parity of this season is dampening the market as well. The Panthers were a taunting penalty away from taking first place at 3-5, they're not going to sell off all of their good players like everyone thought. 9-8 could potentially make the playoffs as a wild card in either conference.

And I read today that they offered Carolina 4 picks and Akers for McCaffrey.

For the 2023 draft right now they have a 2nd a 3rd , three 5th, four 6th and two 7th round picks (includes comp picks per OTC).

Not sure they can even use those comp picks yet for trade as they haven't officially been announced as far as I know.

Agree. Rams have no draft picks with which to acquire a decent tackle to replace Andrew Whitworth. Now, add C Brian Allen missing time. When the line is a shambles, soon, your plays calls become the same.
