I probably would if I were them. Baker has absolutely sucked this year for the Panthers but wasn't terrible when he was actually healthy in the few years prior to that with the Browns. Shanahan's offense doesn't ask a whole lot from its QBs, I think Baker would probably be better than Purdy for the rest of the season. Sucks for the Niners, they were my NFC Super Bowl pick. Barring Purdy/another Niners QB being way better than expected, it looks like the NFC will come down to the Eagles and the Cowboys.

What difference does it make? Joe would still have Spanos running things and hiring bottom tier coaches with a GM not being agressive in trades or aquiring draft picks. Just let Tillery go for nothing while he sacks our QB with crap depth on the OL

I was never sold on Wilson as he has looked awful for the past couple of seasons. While I thought KC was still the team to beat, I thought we'd put up more of a fight. I expected the Raiders to fade but not as bad as they did. I am actually not that surprised.

I was flipping back and forth between the Chargers and this game - I do wonder if Shanahan called a different game for Purdy. Granted, being able to run the ball, throw bubble screens to Samuel and McCaffrey help a QB as well as having a dominant defense.
