I thought Matt Rhule was going to be a good HC too, but it’s things like this that makes me smh.

And a current top need for CAR is still a bookend to Taylor Moton.
We do not play modern football.

David Culley fired by Texans, per Rapoport and Garafolo.

Guy didn't have a fair chance, probably just a place holder after no one wanted the job last season.

Trying to stay upbeat, I'm hoping that Murray can be coached up, ala Pipkins. Don't know what position he would play, but would hate to see him go to another team and be successful. Want him to be successful here. Some guys just take longer to absorb everything.

Maybe the Chargers can lure back Pep Hamilton.

Then, there was ONE black head coach in the NFL.

Because of Dan Rooney and the Rooney Rule.

But GM Nick Caserio, who coached over Culley's shoulder will not be dismissed. Got it.

I'm disappointed the Chargers will have the worst GM in the AFC WEST returning for a 10th year consecutive, but I can handle another two years of Spanos maturing his L.A. investment before he sells out, before the Chargers put a real football man back in the front office.
Mccoy was 9-7 his first two years. 2013 he made the playoffs, but just barely. 2014 his team could've made the playoffs but they couldn't get the job done against KC in the final week. Lynn was 9-7 his first year in 2017, he could've made the playoffs but his team couldn't get things to go their way. He made the playoffs the next year in 2018. It was the last two years of Mccoy and Lynn that gets remembered for their incompetence. Lets see what happens with Staley in his 3rd and 4th years, if people will still fanboy over him.

Other teams are replacing their GMs. I wish this team did the same.

Staley said that he's an "off ball linebacker with edge traits" at his final press conference.

Expect more of the same: Staley's hoping that he develops into those two dual roles.

Needs more beef in front of him on D-line: saw him fight off too many blocks on run plays for an off-ball linebacker role.

Going by his current level of play his official position will be Left Out next year if he does not get it together.

                          Maybe they will hire Lynn.
