Colts seems to be the most obvious to me. And best fit for all parties. Can’t see them going into next season with Brissett.
What Team Does Rivers Land On In 2020?

Hmmm lets send him to TB, Arians will fix him and give him a chance to the SB... you know what? lets do a Brady Vs Rivers in SB LV in TB... this is going to be biggest history in decades.. first team to play home team in the SB and the biggest soap opera of the decade: Brady vs Rivers in the SB, one in Chargers gear and the other in Bucs gear... fuck! that is a great idea! lets do it!."
but if all the FA QB's(we have never had so many and so many great future HOF ones....brees, brady, rivers..... etc) and the teams choose the QB's who are best fits..... then I could see
Rivers going to TEN or Indy where he would have a great OL......
Rivers going to TB because it would be close to home.....
where Rivers ends up will force one other QB move....
Brady to LAC because its a huge market with a new stadium that the NFL needs to sell seats.... .....Brady could handle that pressure but he would never er survive the Chargers current OL......having Brady behind this OL would expose how truly bad it has been...... many people blaming Rivers instead of the OL.......
Brees will stay a saint even though they were undefeated with their backup QB..... Brees needs to stay with that coach and playing indoors where there is no wind,. etc......
Manning just retired......
most of the other FA QB's will move around and just become backups somewhere else....
All of the FA QB movement will affect the draft as far as the QB's go.........

As long as he doesn't retire, I'm good. Chargers are making a huge mistake if they don't even try to negotiate with him, but they are known for being a terribly run organization. Playing for another team could very well be the best thing for Phil. And imagine being at 397 TD passes and deciding to hang em up when you know you can still play.

Tampa Bay has a proven coach and finished with a top ten OL this season. A combination that Rivers has never experienced in his career. My money will be on TB winning the NFC South if they actually sign Rivers.
