And, No, HH is not a WR but he is a vital part of the passing game, so including him as part of the WR Corp isn't a big stretch.
its a stretch to count him in the WR group.

Last year White played at little bit of time at all 3 LB spots, before finally spending most of his time as a OTTO type guy. He was not necessarily the "starter", since he was not going up against the base O, but he did play a lot. But Nwuso and Egbule still got some snaps at OTTO too, and I think they listed Nwosu as the starter, whatever that means. Between the players they have, we can matchup against the size of the TE, and set the edge, or put a smaller, more athletic player on the field to matchup better against TE in coverage. We just have a single player who does both well.

While White was playing OTTO, King got use more on the other side of the formation, so you could think of it is him filling in the Phillips role. However, without Phillips, we were forced to leave the LB on the field and we basically played our Nickle as our base, and gave up playing dime. We used it a little, but that was a primary D the previous 2 seasons. Mostly, without Phillips and Derwin, we just were not the same D. White is a similar sort of player, but he didn't play as well as he did, and he needs to figure it out.

Ekeler added a bunch of snaps in the slot last year, so that helps the WR group as a whole. However, without Gordon, the more he will be needed as a true RB, and he won't be available for the slot if we only have JJ at RB. Pope did little for me as a RB in preseason, and while his return game in the preseason was outstanding, he didn't keep it up in the regular season. He is also not listed on the Chargers.com roster right now (3/21). We need a couple more RB, although most teams can usually find a RB in the draft or via street FA, so there is no reason to get worried now. Worse case, there are always good RB who have outstanding TC, but then are cut due to deep rosters, so we can get one there.

He hasn't put it together because he hasn't had a QB worth a shit, and the closest to a decent QB was in '17 when they had Josh McCown starting 13 games and Robbie had just under 1000yds, with an avg of 14.9 per rec and 7 TD's. He came on late '18 when Darnold started to figure things out and pretty much had a solid game this past year anytime Darnold could pass over 200 yards. And the fact you're comparing a 6'3" guy who has good hands, especially when it comes to contested catches, to a guy who's 5'10" and can't catch a cold, means you've probably never really watched Anderson play.

I love the player, we just don't have the cash for him and this draft class is dripping with talent.

Which wr from the draft do you think will be excellent value as a deep threat burner same qualities as robby anderson?

With this deep RB draft, we should be drafting at least one or 2 solid every down type of backs to carry the biggest share of the load so Ekler can continue his role as a PT rotational back/receiving back/slot player....... and he does not get too beat up/burned out..... or hopefully all 2 or 3 backs can play any down or situation so defenses cant assume anything when one back is in and other is out.... I like jackson too but he's not an every down type back either......
