To his credit, he had fumbling issues initially but actually went a couple years with very good ball control, is a fairly tough runner with good effort, and fast top speed once he gets going. In my judgment, he rates as a below average NFL RB that happens to put up great fantasy numbers. The flaws in his abilities restrict the offense because his production relies completely on the offensive line winning the play and cannot make something out of nothing or able to create extra yardage on his own.

I honestly feel he is negative (below replacement level) value even if he were free and the team will be better without him.
What you said. I also didn't like how he got tackled by defenders easily. Gordon got stuffed easily by run stoppers.

He could have a great year behind a great run blocking line but I just doubt he will get that in Denver plus splitting time with the other backs.

Paid too much imo. Hes good but too many cheaper options out there in the draft.

we will be fine. Ek and Jackson plus a draft pick will do us well.
And don't forget: 4th: His ridiculous holdout really hurt the team. Too many negatives...

it's funny he said he took the lesser deal so he could face the chargers twice a year. first off that's BS! No one offered more. and 2ndly he is as dumb as his 2 agents if that were the case. he REALLY needs to fire his 2 agents cuz 2 sets of agent brains still cant inform this guy well...just a trifecta of very little gray matter in between the ears.

    Same here.
he’s why I dislike dumb kids sometimes
I was a big fan of drafting him that year (not trading up).
    His loss
bet he would trade a few pounds of muscle for a few brain cells.
    hope I don’t jinx but
this is going to end ugly for someone

I'm glad he stayed in the division. I liked him as a rb, but never loved him. So Melvin, meet Melvin, coming soon.
