He is a ST guy who is athletic and can make plays when he gets the ball, but lacks WR specific skills like route running to do much. A nice signing to try and add a return guy, but he isn't a very good WR.

It depends on what you mean. He is a better kick and punt returner than Benjamin. He is just not as good a route runner.

Chargers are turning over special teams. I get it might seem like losing Dzub, Watt and Phillips are tough losses since they are the best players from the ST. But maybe thats okay. It hasn't been working. Get some new players.

If Jennings can be a good KR and PR. Meaning not fumble. Get positive yards. Instead of letting the ball bounce and roll 10-15 yards, he catches it. All good things

He has proven to be good KOR. I have never seen him return a punt in the NFL. Has he done that?

Sorry, I saw a highlight that was labeled as a punt return, but it was a kickoff.

And he doesn’t count towards the FA compensatory pick formula because he was a non-tendered restricted free agent. So why not.
