Poll: Which FA QB Would You Want if Stick and Taylor Get Hurt?

Pending Telesco doesn't draft any QB's.

If you had to roll with one of these QB's whom would it be with no trades (except for Dalton and Smith who the Bengals and Redskins may let go for like a 6th rounder)?

Let me know if I missed any.

If Alex Smith is healthy, I’d give him a shot on a 2 year minimal $ deal. We could role with our 2 + Alex in 2020 and Smith could be 2021 bridge.

All this mute if ES2 is our future QB1.

I wonder if I should take Smith off of this list, he is owed like $20M and I don't see Washington splitting that with us when they are unsure on their QB, he may be their opening day QB and best QB on their roster right now.

Winston. If you got nothin' to lose, I wanna see how he does after Lasik...LOL.

A fresh start, with Lynn laying down the ball security law...being kicked to the curb for 43 year old Brady may be humbling enough to inspire more disciplined football from the young man. I never liked him coming out of college, thought he was an ass...but he has slowly done some growing up the past few years...if he is contrite and willing to grow some more? Why not...?...probably come cheap, and I assume there isn't a rookie on the squad in this scenario...

Cam in LA might turn into a circus...more about what he will wear to the podium in the post game pressers than about actual football...plus I don't think there is a humble bone in his body. JMO

I dont think every one of those guys will be available. Our QBs would have to get hurt during preseason so i expect some of those guys to be on a team. Cam will, Hill will be back w the Saints.

I'd agree on A. Smith but dont think he is ready yet. Otherwise dont really like anybody on that list, so guess id go with Dalton for a temporary, stop gap QB.....on a 1 year deal.

But if we dont draft a QB and our two guys get hurt......and i know Lynn/TT wont do this as teams dont do,... but for draft position in 2021 id go with Geno :chuckle:

And someone getting fired after the season.

I would like Hill but that is pretty much a dream. Don't think he would be going anywhere.

Winston or cam are good options
both have question marks but are talented players
winston could be great if he learns how to protect the football
                Cam if he is healthy

Cam or Winston. Obviously the best remaining QBs

Cam sure looks and seems like a head case but we could be surprised, he seems so me, me, me.

I like the lasik part about Jameis. The weird thing about Jameis is his college days at FSU he was like one of the best QB's ever for throwing little to no interceptions for a season or career I forget, what a difference, he goes from throwing no interceptions to tons, hopefully it was the blurry eyes if we were to get him!

Unless Taylor and Stick get hurt before the start of the season, none of these QBs will be available for us to sign in the middle of the year when an injury could occur. Since I do expect us to draft a QB, that QB would take over.

I would take Melvin Gordon as he has to build his legacy.
