Which one looks more like a winner, Tua or Herbert?

Judging just from photos of the two. Pure speculation based on nothing. No man love intended. It's gonna be one or the other. It has to be.
Charlie Whitehurst looked like an ad for Old Spice. The Chargers got a lot for Mr. clipboard guy to Seattle.
Who wants to say that the Chargers won't get or choose one of the two? Eh-heh...which one looks like a winner? Looks can be deceiving. Ask ginger Andy Dalton.

Tua. Got that tough samoan The Rock, Roman Reigns look.

Tua is a proven winner. Herbert stepped up and performed when his team needed him most. Excellent Rose Bowl performance backed by solid Senior Bowl and acknowledgment that he has to step up and improve his leadership. Will come with maturity and his saying so is a clear sign of his willingness and aptitude to do it.

No one questions Tua as a leader, he just needs health.

I am using leader as a replacement for winner, many great players who haven't won. Rivers, Marino, Fouts come to mind. All of them are winners and leaders, without a Superbowl victory.

The better question is which one, if either, is ACTUALLY a winner?

Tua is the best QB in this draft.

Anyone can drive fast in a Ferrari. Tua had a ton of talent around him. Would he be in the conversation if he played at a lesser school? He looked good for sure, but his medical history is a huge red flag. Multiple broken wrists, several high ankle sprains that had to be surgically repaired, dislocated hip with broken pelvis. In what was essentially less starts than 2 full NFL seasons. I wouldn’t pick him in top 10, not because he isn’t good. He is a high risk

I’d argue part of being a winner is making wise decisions and leveraging whatever advantages/ talents you may have to position yourself to play for a winning institution like Alabama.
many qbs want to play for winners, Tua won the position.
tua won over Saban to shift the offensive philosophy towards a pass centered attack vs his trusted D and run game.
in contrast, Herbert chose Oregon, presumably, partly because it was home. That’s nice and admirable, but is that a decision a winner leans towards?
                    maybe, maybe not.
Tua is a winner who is attracted to and attractive TO winners.
                    I’ll take my chances.
