Just convinced myself they cant possibly pick Herbert.....who i dont want at #6 anyways. So going another direction.

I like the pick you have of Gibson in the 4th and was going to do that too but for contest purposes im changing it up. Reading today only 1 GM that the article writer talked to saw Gibson as strictly a WR, others see him at RB. Works for me, he has a small sample of tapes but to me ....he reminded me of Marshall Faulk as a runner w/ good vision.

            1) LG Tristan Wirfs * every position save for Mr. Lamp, we pretty much know what we are getting, and for better or worse.... save for LG, and not to mention dude can spell Beluga if he goes down w/injury, can slide over to LT if Pips falters.... not to mention eye think highly of his intangibles, and.... thinkin' AT is off the board.

            2) RB D'Andre Swift * dude is like playing a good chess player.... any mistake you make (as an LB), just puts you further in quicksand and closer to the inevitable, he's gonna juke you outta yer strap unless you are completely on point/your game.... adds the excitement that Tom suggested we might have after the draft (will assume that Cam will take care of the flair part of the equation/half promise).

            3) RB Zach Moss * def not my choice, albeit El Anthony Ray is not messin' around this year.... he/we wants to run the ball, and this guy is the meat 'n potatoes to go w/our twinkle toes brigade otherwise.... my guess is that he disappoints due to durability/injury concerns, albeit will bring alotta smiles to the fans before that point in time comes.

            4) CB Cameron Dantzler * there was the suggestion that we were/are going OT/CB this draft, and there was the report that this guy caught our/the Chargers' eye early in the draft process.... he's got the size, is too slow or not (remains to be determined), and seemingly has good intangibles.... think he pans out and adds the needed insurance/hedge against the development of Facyson/Mike D.

            5) WR Chase Claypool * lotta peoples have this guy as a day two/even second rounder, and.... somebody's gonna drop, this is Tom's magic hand round, and he's a Golden Domer, and.... (of course the tea leaves say so.... so ?)…. doesn't separate or get off the press/line easily, doesn't have much if any Keena wiggle to him, as he's more an MW dupe than not, and.... hellah run blocker for El Ray.

            6) LEO Alex Highsmith * undersized developmental prospect that in theory would be a Supa Mel hedge, and.... another disappoint/swing 'n a whiff (me thinx), albeit haven't looked into the guy much, as seems he has agreeable intangibles, albeit again if you're looking for a real threat off the edge, word has it that he is more finesse and not ideal in setting the edge against the run.... high risk, little reward.

            7) RT Terrence Steele * long-term hedge/developmental project to hopefully one day spell Beluga, and.... think the odds are too high against him and just ain't gonna pan out.

overall as mentioned before, team TommyJohn holds form and gets an above avg grade, prolly hitting on about 4/7 picks when all is said and done, which is enough to keep Tom's job, and which is prolly to be expected for a team sitting @6 overall, and w/top o' the round picks in every round after that.... the challenge will be for our FO to begin to learn how to stockpile picks and become more proficient in assembling a complete and whole roster, rather than falling for the skill position candy, and be just out of the loop when it comes to the AFC West playoff pic.
RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

Interesting beach. 2 RBs back to back. Claypool is the only prospect/round, I don’t think is a possibility but stranger things certainly have happened.

                Two RBs? Not a chance.....2 WRs....certainly a chance.

But yes, stranger things have happened, so my prediction has no shot lol. But I do bet Lynn loves Hertz

Being in Duck country Roo, how does Breeland look in personish?
He was on track for a big season before the injury. Hurt Herbert’s receiving options when he went down it seemed.

But yes, stranger things have happened, so my prediction has no shot lol. But I do bet Lynn loves Hertz
funny tho that the depth chart is already up to seven pre draft and UDFAs, albeit the RB stable has but two to their name ??

and does he love Hurts over an RB.... Swift/Dobbins and/or Moss/Akers ??

Dont know. If Lynn loves Hurts, we could draft him at 37 or 71...trade up or trade down in the first for extra picks. Im not real high on Moss for us.

Needing a QB, this draft is one of the most anticipated drafts for us in a while. Too bad there is no Ben, Phil or Eli in it for us since Burrow going #1.
