Definitely the most 'important' player on the team, and certainly (by miles and miles) the best QB on the team. Hard to say in football that any 1 guy is the best player on the team . . . . . .

NFL is a game of specialists at each position - why I’ve long hated “tweeners” that were not actually elite at either of the positions they were between. Hester was my poster boy - not strong enough for FB, not nearly fast and skilled enough for Tailback (RB).

I’ll stand by my bold pronouncement but you’re right it’s unprovable in that sense. I’ll go with he’s a better QB than any other player is a better “X” at their respective positions.

No argument there . . . . . . . . I hope the kid gets to win a championship someday. I feel for P Rivers . . . . . such a shame - the stars just never aligned for him. IMO Justin's got a much better chance as long as H & H are around (maybe even this year ).
