I would honestly say they have the best social media team in the NFL and its not close.

I don’t even know when or how they got Herbert to dress up and smash the TV with all the negative analysis. But it was both amazing and hilarious at the same time, perfectly capturing how disrespected we all felt after he was drafted.

Success is the best revenge. There we're so many times during interviews that Herbert had that gleeful Smirk of the Cat eating the Canary!

Herbalife. The Chargers placed some billboards around town including one in DTLA in the LA Live plaza. In the background you can see the Herbalife building. Fitting nickname

Herbert is going to reach out to Brees in the off-season. Herbert has to learn a new offense.

I recommend that Chargers nation pump the breaks on Herbert at least some. There were concerning parts to his game, which the previous Chargers staff may have masked. Although I have and continue to be high on Herbert, there are some things he really needs to improve upon as the rest of the NFL adapts to his game. Posted below is an article from PFF..

                  4. QB JUSTIN HERBERT, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

There were some doubts about Herbert’s ability to immediately produce for the Chargers, but he silenced the critics in a convincing fashion. Herbert earned a 78.6 passing grade, tying for 12th in the NFL this season and ranking as the sixth-best mark we have ever recorded from a rookie. Don't get completely carried away with Herbert’s success in Year 1, though.

When isolating his play to just throws from a clean pocket, Herbert drops to 24th in the NFL in passing grade (76.2). His performance was fairly reliant on plays under pressure, which is extremely volatile from year to year. On those dropbacks, Herbert’s 75.4 grade was the best in the NFL.

The sixth overall pick actually had more turnover-worthy plays when kept clean (10) than when pressured (six). This is no slight to Herbert, as he had a remarkable rookie campaign. No one quite expected him to rank third in deep passing touchdowns (12) and ninth in big-time throws (31).

                  5. QB JOE BURROW, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Despite missing nearly the entire second half of his rookie campaign following a gruesome knee injury in Week 11, Burrow still finished as the 16th-most-valuable quarterback in the NFL. His deep ball wasn’t as finely tuned as back in his historic 2019 season at LSU, but Burrow was money on just about every other throw. In fact, he recorded the sixth-best passing grade in the NFL this year when throwing 19 yards or less downfield.

The 2020 No. 1 overall pick also had the lowest rate of passes to result in a quarterback-fault incompletion (4%) this season when in a clean pocket. That’s two percentage points higher than any other NFL quarterback in 2020. The future is bright for the Bengals with Burrow leading the offense.

                      LOL.
Are you related to "Seth" ?
                      You know, "Seth from PFF."

                      Tell you what, neighbor.
Go watch the vid showing all of Herb's 2020 TDs...it's a fun, quick watch.

I consider Herbert to be an MVP candidate in 2021, such are his moves on an NFL football field.

PFF are the assholes who told us to draft Tillery.

They need to apologize, admit they were wrong about #10, back away from the keyboard, and issue refunds for subscriptions.

PFF does not tell the entire story or is it right 100% of the time, but used correctly, it does provide a valuable perspective. Nobody would disagree that Herbert is capable of splash plays. The thing that concerns me mostly have to do with the more routine plays. The best defensive coordinators will be all over those type situations. Ranking 24h in the league from a clean pocket certainly worries me.

Hopefully these things are brought to Herbert’s attention for him to improve upon. The great thing about Herbert is that he acknowledges in a very real way that he still needs to improve. The second year will be the most challenging for him now, especially since the league has film on him now and may plan against his tendencies.

This in no way is an indictment on Herbert.. if anything it’s an acknowledgement that he still needs to get better at those little things that Brady has mastered. This is where Staley from a defensive prospective might become invaluable to Herbert’s continued development!
