I didn't want to give up on him after two years of being injured and two different coaching staffs. I hope he's ready to be a very good player for us and can be here beyond his rookie deal.

I look at anything good we get out of him as a bonus and something I wasn't sure we'd get this year. If he is truly gets comfortable with the D and can stay healthy it makes us that much better.

If he doesn't last to a second contract that's another strike against Telesco. It's not so much what he gave up as it is that he selected Murray over Patrick Queen and some stud running backs who went in the second round--Jonathan Taylor being the most notable.

I simply don't care. It's Telesco's job to pick the right players and build and restock the roster. He should have known there was a possibility Lynn wasn't going to be around much longer.

Not a rumor, TT said as much after they drafted him with Lynn sitting next to him with a huge smile when Telesco said Lynn was banging hard at him to get him Murray.

Always interesting reading the comments from the first page two years later. This is not a knock on anybody, like many of you I celebrated this pick, now the dude is in question of even making it to a second contract....just goes to show the draft is such a crapshoot.
