    Joe Reed's NFL draft profile

    Pre-Draft Analysis

Reed is a versatile weapon who lines up out wide, in the slot and in the backfield. He's a threat to break out after the catch. He's one of the most dangerous kickoff return men in the country. Virginia did a good job of scheming to get him open. There's plenty of room for improvement when it comes to route running. Reed finished his college career with 17 tackles and has good kick coverage potential. -- Steve Muench

Cool, somewhat a jack of all trades, he will be very useful to the team.

He can return kicks too - he had at least 4 KR return TDs at Virginia. Big body for a 6-1 WR 224. Outweighs Mike Williams, who is 4 inches taller. 4.47 speed. Feels like a good pick. Here's his 2019 highlights:

ADDENDUM: Reed led the FBS in kickoff return average with 33.2 per return and two touchdowns. He returned five kickoffs for touchdowns in his career.

                        Jet sweeps too.
Zierlein projects Joe Reed to core ST Gunner also.
AL wanted someone who can play Slot and Outside.
OL's friend with the underneath stuff.
