Quite possibly the best true LB in the draft.

Our defense is looking pretty formidable.

Murray is the non-Old Man Davis, non-Jatavis LB...can chase and tackle...just what the Dr. ordered...

Brugler said exactly the same thing.

              Murray (WILL) --Tranquill (MIKE)--White (SAM)
              is my guess.

TT is counting on the depth at RB & WR to be there at #112 +.

To, summarize, it's no Simmons, and sell the soul to the devil for Murray instead.

This will be interesting. Not sure what the league has decided about the off season mini-camps and what will happen with training camp. If those are cancelled or shortened it will slow down his chances of getting ready. I would guess Taylor starts the first game and then it will depend on how the season goes. As long as we are in the playoff hunt, it will be hard to put him in. If our defense is dominant and we can run and shorten games, that plays into Taylor's conservative approach and he'll likely remain the starter. If our defense isn't dominant and we have to win shootouts (especially in a division with KC and the Raiders and Broncos loading up on offense), we'll fall out of contention and it would be time to play him.

He'll be starting after about the 6th or 7th game, once Tyrod Taylor has had his run and proven what a mediocre QB he is. They will make the switch and start preparing for the future even if it means losing some more games, although I expect Herbert to flash his potential.

Expect a high draft pick in next year's draft where we will use our top pick to draft a LT to protect Herbert for the next 10 years. All according to plan.

So after week 7, say we’re 4-3 and squarely in the Playoff Hunt. You think they’ll pull Tyrod? That’s the scenario I worry about...

I'd say more like a record of 3-4 or even 2-5 with bad quality QB play. 4-3 will probably still keep the lights on for Tyrod but I don't expect it unless our running game just all of a sudden dominates everyone.

Tyrod is not going to be the guy leading this team to victories, they will have to come from somewhere else.

Herbert is the QB of the future but he sits for the year unless Tyrod gets hurt or as mentioned Tyrod can’t win. If Tyrod stays above 500 Herbert hopefully sits until next season, of course taking snaps for clean up.
