Good hire. I remember when he was a commodity.

Hamilton has a long history coaching at several different teams:

Hamilton has been an OC...in case Stitch stumbles, Hamilton could be next up...

He is one of the younger NFL coaches bringing college concepts to the NFL. Was big part of the push to bring bubble screens and zone read to protect the QB, and get the ball into a playmakers hands. He is a good X&O's/tactics guy who just uses the regular running game to support his QB, but really just figures out how to blend the concepts into an NFL offense. At least not when he was with Indy and Cleveland. He was the guy that got brought from Stanford to Indy to help coach up Luck.

This makes me feel a lot better about the Hebert pick. Steichen is not a horrible QB coach, and Sherer has some experience developing QB. But Hamilton just has a better history of it.

sounds like a good hire..... Steichen really does not have much experience.......

I’ve been wanting offensive coaching with a recent background in college.
feels great to have some direction.

                welcome Peppy

After a good initial push with Cardale in the XFL, he wasn't able to get much from him before having to bench his athletically gifted starting QB. Hopefully that was a Cardale Jones problem and not a Pep Hamilton problem.

Cardell jones has proven over multiple years and coaches that he sucks..... so I would not blame/judge hamilton for that....

There has been a few news articles that were changing Offense schemes. More zone stuff. Wonder what it's going to look like ?

I'm guessing it's going to look a lot like the Bills when AL was the OC. (He replaced Greg Roman)...yes, that Greg Roman, who runs Baltimore's offense.

                        Hopefully, we have better results.
