All Charger forums are dying. We will thrive. I stop in every now and then just to talk football. I think today was the first time i actually had the intention of saving some of you supporters. That forum seems pretty hater heavy.
Go Chargers!

I still have a bunch of my cards with a lot of these same players. I have them divided up by teams and I have a ton of those 70's Steelers, Cowboys, Dolphins, Vikings, Raiders, Rams, etc. I even found an early 80's Topps Marino rookie card. I am sure it is all worth something...but to whom? I have no idea if and where a market for old football cards exists any more?
My Charger fandom started in 88 when I moved to SD from LA to go to college. Growing up in LA my team was always the Rams (could talk 70's-80s Rams trivia with anyone) and when they moved to StL, it made giving up on them and focusing on the Bolts exclusively much easier. I am still a Bolts fan and understand the need for a business to compete and be as viable as possible; however, I don't like Spanos or how he went about it. That said, mistakes were made by BOTH sides and after years of BS, here we are...with the Bolts in LA. I am still a fan of the team, players, etc. (maybe it makes it easier for me because it is LA, where I am from originally) but I never fully understood the SD hatred for LA. I don't understand those SD fans who hate the team now because of WHERE they moved, to have a lifetime hate of a whole city is a lot of darkness and tough on the soul. I hate to say this but much of the country thinks LA and SD are geographically and even culturally similar. Many fans here (although most are Denver fans) had the attitude of what is the big deal, they just moved down the road?
That said, it was not easy for me to sort through my feelings on the move and it took the draft for me to figure out...yes, I guess I am still interested. So, I DO understand those fans upset that the Chargers moved at all (regardless of city) and I DO understand those that choose not to ever cheer for the team, players or Spani ever again.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.
