Something else I would like to say. Having not lived in North America for 15 years now, I am astonished, and not in a good way, at the portion sizes. One of the best ways to control your weight is to start using a side plate to curb your portions when at home. If you go out to eat, eat half of that monstrosity that is often served on a platter.

Fwiw, I am pushing 50 and weigh 3 lbs less than when I graduated high school (I had less than 4% body fat). I got heavy a few years back from eating and drinking too much. I cut down portion sizes and cut back on beer. I do not drink soda ( my 6 year old has never drank soda) and almost no added sugar. I quit smoking 3.5 years ago (ashamed I ever started, but was raised in a tobacco growing community and my mom smoked until her heart issues).I live on the third floor(16 stairs per floor) and I try not to use the elevator. My grocery store is a half mile away. I walk there for an almost daily shop and carry my groceries back (up hill all the way). I guess what I am trying to say is small things make for big changes and one doesn't need a gym to make a change.

The snack of the day is...

              Luke's Organic Cheddar Lightning Bolts.

A healthy twist on Crunchy Cheetos.

              In the Powder Blue bag.

The natural cheddar cheese gives the tasty snacks a sunshine yellow tint.

              Enjoy.

                Changes...

                --Gold Standard Whey added.
--Pharmaceutical Grade Liquid Fish Oil, 1-2 tablespoons/day.
                --CoQ 10/PQQ same.
                --NAD+ w/Resveratrol; previously w/NR; now NMN.
--LEF Mix/ ORAC EG powders now two-thirds dosage each.
                --Shilajit replaced by Nattokinase powder.
                --Chrysin replaced by DHEA.
                --AMPK same.

I would like to add Rapamycin (mTor) to complete the three pathways to youthful genetic expression.

I have become aware of groundbreaking work in anti-aging. NMN (Nicotinimide mononucleotide) is the key component in helping enzymes cause certain proteins (sirtuins) to signal cells via NAD to mimic calorie restriction.

NMN, Resveratrol, and Nattokinase in powdered form, are readily available from Bulk Supplements in Herderson NV. All lab tested.

Hope I have that right, pretty close. What we have here is "workout in a bottle." Time for wu to hit the gym and get out of COVID, Pillsbury Doughboy phase. Saunas, cold showers, brief, intense supersets, mild cardio...

Props to many, especially David Sinclair, phd.

Also props to the soil of the island of Rapa Nui aka Easter Island where the yeast Rapamycin/mTor was discovered 30 years+ ago.

Really like the VEGA and SUNWARRIOR protein lines. I have boycotted GOL since they were bought by coke. Not that coke is a bad brand....just that im typically a supporter of the smaller batch type companies. That Optimal Nutrition Gold Standard is super high rep.

Im totally over capsule supps. Pretty much just stacking Athletic Greens with Sun Warrior. 5G of glutamine on top of that.

                  Extra emphasis on gut health.

Ive gained a few as well. And with it more issues. I need to just get off the mainland. My doordash obsession was made really bad by covid. Just looking forward to being real small with my diet. I eat so much less in Kauai. The weather forces you to be lean and mean.

Nice hiking in Kauai. My wife and I went on a hike there, that ended up in this big long cave.

Northshore. Great hiking there. Not easy on really hot days. Like to get the cardio in early there. Probably spend 4 hours a day at the gym and hiking. Then attach my kayak to my motorcyle. And his the private lake at the Kuk. While everyone is out kayaking in the ocean ill be on a quiet private lake in the shade ripping the shoreline. Probably a 2 mile kayak all the way around the lake. Part of the workout routine. Im gonna get so ripped again.

This was me at 40. Gonna get after it again. Let myself go. Full time single dad also impacted the diet and lifestyle.
