    July Workouts go here

    We'll start this as a monthly thread, and if we catch enough people, maybe that'll get too long, and we can go to weekly.

    I ran tonight. 2.5 miles. 24:55 (I'm actually surprised I got under 10 minute pace)

    This was my first run in over a month, and only my 3rd run since school got out in May.

    A long way to go, but it felt good getting out there.

    Did 10 push-ups this morning on my 30 days to 50 program. Gonna be traveling for business this month, so just keeping it simple.

          2.75 Miles in 26:22

          Trying to get a decent 3 mile route from our new place. I've got a good idea of what to add next time.

          Love my run though.... goes right by Frost Arena, and the SDSU football stadium. Cool route.

            Goal is 5000 steps daily, and getting to 10K by next week. Just did a brisk walk at noon time for about 1600 steps, max heart rate about 95. I'm not allowed to lift more than 5 lbs for 2 weeks after the stent install, the hard part is stopping to think what I can lift, or overdoing duration. The other restriction is no spin (and other cardio) classes for 2 weeks as well.

                Supposed to run today (I'm hoping for a Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun schedule for the time being.

                But I have a concert to attend tonight, and there's no way to get it in.

                How's everyone else doing?

                  Booking 6300 steps today. Too hot and sticky outside for the walk, so was on the treadmill, only about 3.5mph. Also did about 6K yesterday. A little winded, which is good, can't be too easy.

                    Doing 4 mile hikes every day. Lots of dips and push ups. Heading out to Kauai for 3 weeks. Just need a break. I have never done a solo trip while my kids have been alive. Ive always had at least one of them with me. Im constantly trying to parent. My daughter finally said im doing to much. I need to chill. Overparenting. I dont know how im going to get through this. My mind is constantly trying to give to them. lol Im so codependent on them.

                      Well, you're obviously doing something right if your daughter can speak so frankly to you. And the fact that you're accepting her argument speaks loads more.
