              RIP Chuck. For some reason, I thought he had died a while ago. I liked his commentary on NFL nostalgia shows.

              I don't like seeing that hit on Frank Gifford. In the old days, when NFL Films was cool, that was one of two oft-repeated highlights I would have preferred never to see (the Holy Intentional Grounding being the other). It's almost as bad as accidentally seeing Joe Theismann's leg bone sticking out, but, at least with that one, nobody kept re-showing it. Unfortunately, some things I can't unsee.

                          The man who freed jazz and funk. Not really my style (I like my jazz and funk reined in a bit), but he gets points for originality and experimentation. Plus, his son is a great drummer.
