When I heard about this shooting in Orlando I was kind of numb. I think maybe it was the French and Belgium terrorists shootings that contributed to that. Or maybe it was the sheer number of people who died. I mean fuck. 49 people. God help us love each other.
I also think I had a little reaction when I heard it was a gay bar - just like what the Utah Lt. Gov was talking about. It's sad that so many of us grew up thinking "gay" or appearing gay was worse than a fucking disease. Gay people have been demonized for centuries around the world. And for what? It's all so silly and sad.For Stinky-Jon-Wizzleteats....

My first thoughts when I heard it was a gay night club were that this was probably a hate crime. I'm glad they stopped that guy from Indiana who was coming out to the LA gay pride thing to do the same thing, so at least there's that.Comment
