So, about 18 months ago or so, I changed my diet. I've been eating loads of vegetables and non-processed meats. I think the only thing I eat that's processed is cheese. I have the occasional light beer with my friends and then there are those weed edibles, but they are so strong, I barely take a part of a bite every other day or so.
At first, my weight dropped from 220 to 180, and I thought I had my answer to being fit. But, since then, for no reason I can figure out, my weight has crept back to 200. My calorie count can't get over 1,000 in a day very often. I went to get my thyroid checked, but my thyroid is normal. So I don't get it.
Anybody else fat for no reason? Is it genetics? My dad was fat, but he drank a ton. The rest of my family is thin, so that doesn't make sense either.
On the positive side, my cholesterol levels, my blood pressure, and my blood/sugar are all outstanding. I might be a 100 year old fat man if being fat, in itself, doesn't kill me.
