This Saturday I get to go see The Cult do Death Cult music and then a second half of just Cult music. Tuesday I am off to see Gary Numan. No more man machine for him like the 70's and early 80's. The set now is a goth rock style production that they say is incredible. Next Saturday I get to see old friends Devo open for the B-52's. I have seen Devo probably 15 times over the years and it's been awhile for me. I saw the B's open for The Talking Heads in Santa Barbara back in 79and that began a love affair that has topped 20+ over the years. It's also been a minute since I saw them, so this really is old home week. Both of these bands, especially Devo, dominated my turntable and car cassette for a lot of years. On top of that I get Lene Lovich as the opener to those two. Quite a week coming up.
