Chargers CB Brandon Flowers (groin) isn't practicing
Melvin Ingram (hamstring) did not practice.
Johnnie Troutman (back) limited in practice today.
    Ingram didn't practice.

I won't expect him to be active for at least 2 games, maybe make the third game. But better than waiting for the 6th game.

It dosnt take much to learn redzone packages. I think he can help us fairly early in that regard. No better QB than Rivers for jump balls.

I added him to my fantasy team just in case.

Not many players I want back from that list. Dunlap just due to how bad the rest of our line sucks. Eddie Royal is a solid player. Can we afford to let both Flowers and Wright go?
I would consider the bolded ones.

Flowers, Dunlap, Royal and Wright would be the must signs. Unless they feel Williams is the next 3rd CB i think Wright is a solid #3. The thing about our OL being primarily back ups is that they got a lot of experience starting the last couple seasons. Ultimately you would like them backing up stud starters. So i could see us bringing back a couple of the depth guys.

        That looks like a plan.

I'm looking forward to an off season where Telesco will have some cap room to play with.

Oh man!! I was looking at that list and saw the same ones. I can't imagine that any of them would cost that much. heck Royals new deal might have less $$ towards the cap next year

We have some money, but we also have a TON of holes.

I think they will also consider one of the back up C's (Legursky or Ohrnberger). We do need a swing tackle backup solution, Willie Smith is not the answer as we saw today.

Hate to say it but Mathews I would add to the list. His price will have to be reasonable and if there is an emphasis on O line then i would Love to see the three headed monster of Mathews, Oliver and Woodhead. We are not good enough to let talent walk and his price will be LOW after all his injuries this year. If Telesco believes in his work ethic than he gets my stamp of approval for one more go.

If we can get him cheap then we have to re-sign him. He's too good. as soon as I write that I feel "Oh no!"
