With many holes to fill we would blow a ton of valuable cap space to sign Suh, just like Watt he can't cover receivers or play right guard.....I'd be stunned if the Bolts signed him, it's a bluff

I think it depends on how the contract is structure; if TT structures the contract that we can cut Suh prior to year 3 if he does not play well the first 2 years with very little damage to our cap, I say why not...

Suh is the big target in FA. Why would he want to sign a deal like that?

"Those guys" were an integral part of turning a 4-12 team into a 12-4 team as well as the core of a 14-2 team that probably would have won a Super Bowl if not for the actions of a select few.

On paper the Royal + Meachum signings looked to more than offset the loss of VJ, and if I remember correctly most people here were pretty pleased at the tradeoff that offseason.

Look, free agency is always a risk. The more the money, the bigger the risk IMO. You guys are underestimating the number of needs on this team. If we can get Suh and still easily address those needs with quality options, then sure, whatever. As good as he is, there is probably no way he lives up to all the hype. He's gonna get paid more than JJ Watt but will not have nearly the kind of impact.

If you way impact in terms of personal production yes, but IMO impact should be measured by the improvement of the team and the defence after he joins it. Is it a risk? Yes for sure. If it pays off could it change our trajectory? If you think it would, why not.

Man (Dunlap, Jacoby, Flowers, Orlando) that opens lots of options in the draft. Hope theres a way to re-sign Wright. Have not heard we are looking at Maclin but did hear where looking at Cobb prior to him re-signing with GB. I would like an additional vet WR. I would be all over the idea of drafting a RB in the first (Gordon or Gurley please)
