Sorry, but for me JJ was electric. Maybe it was just the time/place but he was always the guy that made the incredible catch.....

As I recall, Jefferson performed poorly in the three playoff games with the Chargers; a '79 loss,
and 1-1 in '80.
Jefferson was indeed special, but it seemed not just Allen, but his immediate replacement Wes Chandler
and in the Ross years, Tony Martin performed better in big-i.e. playoff games.
Had he stayed, we'll never know if he'd have shaken his playoff funk, but in Green Bay-he never had the

One more thing concerning Leslie O'neal. I remember when he was drafted Don Coryell said he never dreamed O'neal would be available when the Chargers' pick came up. I think the same thing happened last year with Derwin James. In ten years I hope we will be looking at James as one of the best Bolt safeties ever. If his first year is any indication, that very well may happen.
